Thought this design was pretty amazing, and I love printing assemblies all at once. Sliced with KISSlicer using the inset surface at 0.1mm (I think) as I needed more clearance. Here's a link to the model:

Re: Emmett's Gear Bearing
I tried to print that when I had the z-wobble. Talk about fused gears.. lol.
How does it roll?
How does it roll?
Re: Emmett's Gear Bearing
It rolls reasonably smooth. Here's a quick video I made to give you an idea.

Re: Emmett's Gear Bearing
Could you use it as a PLA roll bearing? We had made one with the intention of using them as such.
Re: Emmett's Gear Bearing
Yeah should work fine provided you have a rod small enough to fit in the center.

Yeah there was a parametic on thingi we used for our metal rod and max interior hole of the PLA roll.
Re: Emmett's Gear Bearing
That looks like a nice finish on that piece. Did you have to use support for the hair curls? If so, how did you clean it up after? I've never done anything like that so I'm curious how you got it to look so nice.
