Halloween Prints on a 2014

Postby dsp39 » Thu Nov 06, 2014 4:54 pm

Hey y'all,

Here's a long print for ya! I scaled up Thingiverse user Shapespeare's Skull Bowl by 1.5 to make a candy bowl for trick or treaters. The skull is awesomely realistic and lets kids grab candy AND learn about 3D scanning and printing.

I also printed some at 0.75mm for lanterns and for mulled wine. Can't beat the taste of plastic in your wine! The large skull and the wine skull were printed on my TAM. The four 'lantern' skulls were printed on a Rep2. The large skull was about a 24 hour print at 0.2mm (lots of detail). The small skull was about 4 hours.

Now go post up one of your recent prints!!

Awesome skulls! I agree we need more people posting cool prints in here. Below are a few pics of a mask I printed recently for Halloween.

Nice print! I like that the bits of droop look like eyelashes.
