Marlin firmware for Plywood 2013 TAM Series 1

Postby 100ideas » Wed Nov 18, 2015 1:19 pm

I have an early plywood Series 1, "serial number" 0000018, and have been running older Marlin firmware on it.

I wanted to try out some of Marlin's new features

    - PID autotuning via M303
    - gcode access to EEPROM for storing & manipulating certain parameters via M501 and M502
    - volumetric filament math
    - other tweaks

So I grabbed one of the more recent versions of Marlin firmware from TAM's bitbucket repo and attempted to reconfigure it to work with my machine. Here's the source if anyone wants to check it out.

While I haven't had a chance to test this new firmware out, it seems like a great step!

Autotune didn't work so well in the original firmware, because it have a fourth multiplier outside of the P.I.and D....

If anyone needs it, the original firmware is here : viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2233

I'm from support. I'm here to help.
