Bed bolt size

Postby jarhead » Sat Sep 12, 2015 7:54 am

Can anyone tell me the size and thread count of the bed mounting bolts?
I wanna pick up some thumb nuts for leveling it but I'd rather not take them out until I have the nuts, it's pretty level right now.

Must be a very tough question.

Jarhead,

That's an M4 bolt. Metric bolts don't have pitch differences AFAIK.

This was an easy question, but Support does not actively monitor the forums. We only check the forums after all Support tickets and all hardware repairs are finished. If you need an answer quickly, contacting support.typeamachines.com is the best way to get an answer.

Thanks Mathew. I thought someone on here, other than support, would've been nice enough to answer. I was wrong.

For the record, metric does come in different pitches, but fine thread metric bolts aren't very common. Standard pitch of M4 bolts is 0.7mm, off of which you can do some bed leveling math.
