Within Octoprint there you can alter the options for the shutdown and reboot option (I think Settings->Features). I have added the command 'sudo shutdown now -h' for shutdown and now when I'm done, I execute it and wait until the connection gets lost in the web browser. Then I switch off the machine...

The printer has it's own computer inside ( http://beagleboard.org/BLACK ) which handles the printing. I assume you are uploading your files using the web-interface of octoprint. You can even turn of your computer if you like since the computer inside the printer will finish the job after you have st...

This sounds very cool.. Do you also have some pictures of the cooling and the setup with the 5v Power Supply. I also was wondering whether there is a way to turn on and of the printer from Octoprint. Now I got the answer :).

The power on of would for sure be a nice plugin for Octoprint :).

Not sure. but if I remember right I had this issue because I was calling the command in the wrong folder. Or maybe the configuration file contains the wrong paths? Which would be my first guess. Sorry for this vague answer, it's have been a while when I tried it and run into the same issue.

Interesting approach.. I'm also looking into a similar solution and have already 5 fans ready on my desk.
What I don't get here is that it seems most of the air blown through the Radial Fan seems to go downwards and not directly to the head.
