PEI (Ultem) sheet on Series 1 as build surface

I bought one of these for around $22 on Amazon (then bought two more for all of my printers): https://www.amazon.com/Gizmo-Dorks-Printing-Surface-Adhesive/dp/B01KGDTLHI/ ...it is a 12" x 12" .8mm thick sheet of PEI/Ultem that comes with a 12x12 adhesive. And it does REALLY well! I do not h...

Will Palette support soluble support materials

Hi! Can the new Palette add-on device work with soluble support materials (in addition to three other filaments at the same time)? The issue would be: would the soluble material fuse to the "other" filament (PLA)? ...and the soluble material would also need to be workable at a similar temp...

Series 1 jerk settings seem conservative

Anyone know why this is, from a design perspective? I have a Mendel Max 2 printer, and a TAM printer. A model was sliced for both printers, with the only change being the bed size. The MM took 15 hours and the TAM printer took 22 hours for the same part. the MM has jerk settings that allow it to pri...

Re: MeshMixer 3.0?

I humbly submit my education site: http://www.honeypoint3d.com/education ..I created over 18 hours of Meshmixer training for either $79 (lifetime access) or $20/month for that class as well as all other paid classes on the site. A lot of MM questions are answered there, and I use Meshmixer daily wit...

Dual extruder support?

Hiya....as the dual-extruder forum has only one post in it, I thought I would ask here:

The breakout board on the Series 1 has all the plugs to support multiple (dual) extruders....has anyone done so?

Series 1 Build Plate Knob 3D Model

Hi....I recently broke the 3D printed knob that raises and lowers the build plate, and it seems that TAM has misplaced the 3D model to print out new ones. They have the GCode file, but I wanted to tweak some settings in the slicing profile and did not want to edit the GCode manually. So, here is the...

Re: Direct print to Meshmixer

Sounds like this is not easily done, if at all. I talked to the Meshmixer developer this week and he said this does not really work all that well, if at all, most times. Fortunately, the new Autodesk Print Studio software/slicer/print manager natively supports the TAM Series 1 printer, so there is h...

This will be the second replacement cable this machine will have received...I would love to upgrade to the new cables f...
