Re: "Easy Bed Leveling?" more like "Impossible Bed Leveling"

Gnomes. I saw your 2013 glass bed, and I would say your biggest problem was having several pounds of glass hanging off of the front. Not sure how pla clamps could cause the glass to warp or bow, if you take into consideration the pla clamps were surely softer than the glass. I created a bed leveling...

Re: Quick Release Fire Extinguisher Clamp

If it were up to me, and if there is room for it, I would keep the welds to the inside of the corners. Would give a more "fabricated" look to the corners, and better appearance overall. Thats if the corner match ups are decent. Either that or I would at least run each side flat to a statio...

Any python - C++ - software engineers here?

Wondering if any software engineers belong to the board. Im starting a new altcoin (crypto currency) project that uses a completely new type of working method in order to ensure a constant second store of value is attributed to the coin. Many have probably read about bitcoin, litecoin and their asso...

Re: Anyone Mining Bitcoins?

As an interesting side note: we debated briefly back in early 2013 whether we should accept bitcoin payment on our website after one customer requested to pay in said currency. If we had done so, and sold the coins at their high point of last year, we would have been fully funded now! Oh well :) Do...

Re: Anyone Mining Bitcoins?

Mined, and traded. Bought back in after a little bit of day trading. Id have to look at my histories to see how much of that was mined, because Its not from mining btc directly but from altcoins traded into btc. Asics are just too expensive an unavailable to be profitable right now. many are making ...

Re: Anyone Mining Bitcoins?

Let me first say that after my own tests, I am just under 1200 BTC from the time I first posted this until now. If anyone is interested in purchasing a crypto currency for the heck of it or just for plain experimenting, I would purchase litecoin IMMEDIATELY. They are about to go up. Id could go into...

Re: Bat Belt Accy

This happens with a bent or tweaked lead screw, period. Even slightly tweaked will cause striations. On the 2013 models it would also gradually loosen the bottom brackets on the z axis rods which didnt help matters. You can eliminate this pretty much entirely by not hard mounting the z nut, which wo...

Re: F-F-Fiddle

I think I'd either make a mold and produce some carbon fiber parts, or have it metal cast out of aluminum (sand core in the mold to hollow it out and lighten it up).

Im pretty sure people would buy this.

Re: Project: Scorpio

This is going to be the bird to design for. A decent camera mount kit would probably make some decent cash. Along with options for mounting a bigger battery that distributes the weight.
