Re: E-tray fan replacement?

Thanks, Steve! I was able to find a quick replacement online that should be here tomorrow so I can get the project moving again. The exact replacement fan with the LEDs will arrive in a week or two. What can I say? Those lights look cool. lol

E-tray fan replacement?

Has anyone found a good replacement for the E-tray fan? I'm having a little trouble sourcing one and I need to find something quickly. So far, the best I've found is priced at $3.50 including shipping, but that's a 4 pin model and my Series 1 requires 2 pins. It appears to be a Chnese brand. Gdt? Mo...

Re: Removable build plate for TAM Series 1 PRO

Sorry to hear that you broke your print bed. You might want to try using a narrow paint spatula. It works wonders for me. Just work the blade point in under the print and then slowly slide the blade left and right in a sweeping motion. Keep working your way around the print and it'll pop right off.

Re: Holes in my top layer

Did you use the correct material profile? If using Generic PLA, then your print profile should have a temp of 220 and a speed of 60. Previously, the speed was 100.

There are also some settings in expert settings that should allow you to tweek surface layers and solve this problem.

Re: Upgrade to pro worth it?

BillDempsey - Thank you for the reply. My new projects all require larger prints so that's definitely something to consider. JarHead - Yeah, it's more expensive than I expected. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure of exactly what would be upgraded. What I do know is that I'm bad with electronics and...

Upgrade to pro worth it?

I currently use a 2014 Series 1. It's been a solid machine and printed good quality prints for me, but the new materials and the heated bed have tempted me to upgrade. Has anyone upgraded yet? Any thoughts or experience on materials an print quality over the previous machines? I'd be very interested...

Re: Introducing ProMatte™

I have a Series 1 machine without a heated bed. Can I make large prints with this material without warping?
